Countryman Songo fired more on Sports Minister Isaac Kwame Asiamah Benkae because he had not paid Black Stars coach C. K Akonnor for eight consecutive months. He said it was really unfair to the Minister of Sports, and he was not surprised by the coach's performance because he knew the situation.
